SOME LOCAL FAST FOOD




 Local fast food in Ghana include Hausa kooko, Waakye,Kelewele(sliced fried plantain),Fried Yam,Roasted Yam and Plantain,Roasted maize,Gari with Beans etc.these fast  foods are locally made Ghanaian  foods which are made and sold outside our homes.these are foods we can get as quick as possible to quiche one's hunger. they can be found mostly everywhere on there streets in Ghana,most Ghanaians refer to these fast foods as joints. Many ghanaians buy kooko in the morning as breakfast,it also serves as a form of income and work for the sellers.Waakye is been also bought by most ghanaians and it has no specific time of eating it some people eat it in the morning,others in the afternoon and evening as well.Kelewele is often bought mostly in the evenings because it is mostly sold in the evening, kelewele  is eaten along side with groundnuts,well some people prefers it without the groundnuts.since is not  something heavy,Ghanaians eat it after supper.

Fast Food in Ghana

Fast Food is the term given to food that can be prepared and served very quickly , first popularized in the 1950s in the united states. There are three types of fast food in Ghana which are Traditional fast food, an example of Traditional Fast food are Roasted Plantain,Yam and Cocoyam. Local fast food, an example of local fast food are Waakye, Gari and Bean and Hausa kooko. Exotic fast food, an example of Exotic fast food are Chines Restaurants, K.F.C and PaPaye .Any meal with low preparation time can be considered to be fast food. Typically the term refers to food sold in restaurant or store with preheated or precooked ingredients and served to the customer in a packaged for take - away.These three types of fast food comes with a different packaging and cost.
